proALPHA - Early Warning System

Give the decision makers in your organisation the information they need to respond in a timely manner to critical situations; situations that could lead to serious consequences for the business. With the definition of "early" indicators, potential problems can be evaluated at the point of occurrence and appropriate decisions made.

The high degree of integration of proALPHA ensures that data is continuously available for useful ratio analyses. That means, information from all the modules in the whole application can be combined in a single analysis, with the results output in different colours (a signal function). This performance indicator feature can be designed to display a variety of output formats. Each indicator may have pre-assigned values to serve as boundaries or tolerance limits (optimal, standard, average, sub, and critical) set by the user.

An extremely useful feature is an alert boundary that can be defined for each indicator. When calculated values reach or fail to reach this specified threshold, proALPHA's workflow is engaged automatically, as if a "red flashing light" had been activated, and a group of selected employees is notified via action monitors. Thanks to this event driven notification - an early warning - those in positions of responsibility have timely, comprehensive information about a possible problem area and can then put in place any preventative or remedial actions that are necessary.

proALPHA even provides facilities to enter notes and remark for directives and instructions (e.g. emergency operations), once again supporting actions that can deliver significant cost and time savings at times of high pressure through communication and collaboration.
